  3. One Shot HVL for Mammography

    07 May 12 One shot HVL for mammography is now available to all new Piranhas of version 2 or higher.
    One shot HVL is possible both if you are using Ocean or QA Browser, with or without compression paddle.

    All Piranhas (version 2 or higher), which are in for re-calibration, will get the one shot HVL feature.

Low Total Filtration on some Intra Oral Dental Systems

After reports on too low filtration on a dental equipment using carbon fiber instead of aluminum, we have verified that the Piranha and Barracuda measures correctly. We get the same HVL as when comparing to an ionization chamber. Contact us if you would like to read our measurement report.
