Piranha Panoramic Holder (OPG)
Field Position Analyzer that Saves Time and Money
The Piranha is ideal for measurement on panoramic (OPG) systems. The small detector area and the "Piranha position check", a feature that makes it possible to verify the detector position, ensures more accurate and more reproducible results than with other devices, since the Piranha works wireless, you do not have to worry about any cable during the rotation of the OPG. The Piranha OPG holder makes it possible to attach the Piranha on the panoramic system and quickly perform the measurement. Of course, the Piranha is perfectly suited for measurements on standard intra oral systems as well.
The Piranha Panoramic Holder can be fitted with magnets or adhesive tape. The holder comes with several bendable plates that can be used to fit "around corners" depending on the geometry of the panoramic (OPG ) system. Two screws makes it possible to adjust the horizontal position +/-2 mm.
This means that the holder doesn't need to be positioned "perfectly" with the magnets or tape but can be adjusted afterwards. Note that on some panoramic systems, magnets are not allowed or not possible to use, and the plates makes it easy to use adhesive tape instead.
To perform a measurement:
- Attach the holder and MPD.
- Select the "MPD Position Check" and make an exposure.
- Select "measure all".
- Make an exposure and get kVp, exposure time, dose, dose rate, HVL total filtration, and waveform. All in one exposure!
