Radiography and Fluoroscopy
Radiography and fluoroscopy – in general
All of us are sooner or later examined by a radiography or fluoroscopy system. The capabilities of this group of systems cover everything from a broken leg to a heart transplant. Especially for procedures using fluoroscopy, which can take some time, a patient can receive a high amount of dose.
Checking the radiography and fluoroscopy systems
By using the Barracuda or Piranha, you perform a quick and accurate Quality Control in Radiography and Fluoroscopy. In one exposure you can get up to eight parameters and thanks to our wireless solution with a remote display (on a PDA or PC) you can stay in the operating room throughout the measurements.
Our software automatically recognizes the amount of added filtration and makes the necessary corrections to the measured values.
If you use our small additional dose probe, you can avoid the Automatic Exposure Control and measure very low doses to the image intensifier.
On pulsed fluoroscopy systems you will be able to check the pulse frequency and the dose per pulse, and see the pulses displayed in a graph.
